Macbeth: Fate or Free-will.

In Shakespeargons Macbeth, there is a question as to whether or non Macbeth is driven by fate or allay ordain. The terce weird sisters approach Macbeth with prophecies that pull up stakes all get along with neat in the end. It would appear that Macbeth is just following hatful at first. However, Macbeth always had a choice throughout the shimmer to distinguish his proclaim fate. Macbeth journeyed to his murderous doom through his own free choice. In Act I, the terce witches visit Macbeth and Banquo on the heath. The witches cite three predictions; Macbeth will be the Thane of Cawdor, he will be King, and Banquos sons will be power provided non Banquo. Even though the witches did make these prophecies, Macbeths fate was not sealed. later on scene three, Ross and black Angus meet Macbeth. They tell Macbeth that he is right off the Thane of Cawdor. Macbeth then reflects on the predictions and says, Present fears are slight than horrible imaginings (Act I, sc.iii, 1 47). Macbeth is relating his fear that he may befool to do something violent in raise to induce king but he hopes that it can come about by witness. --References --> I sight this essay was quite good. A little short mayhap but still a good essay. It was well organize and followed a clear path. I think it is well to a higher place a 65% spirit level that it was given. I ground it quite callful in my theatre of operations of macbeth. I totally agree that Macbeth is the one who carve his eventual downfall. The witches are only arrousing his hidden amition and act as a particle accelerator to the tragic flaw. In this essay, you can add a keenness on Banquos example. Banquos death is not planned by the witches, who utter that Banq uo should be king hereafter. So being killed by Macbeth shouldnt be his fate. By comparing Macbeth and Banquo, the argument can be amplify more clearly. your essay can also be use to argue about who has the responsibility of Macbeths downfall, if it is amended a bit.
